This obviously isn't about wild horses, however, we would like to show you this video clip that was taken at an Arabian horse show just a few years ago. This video was sent to the people who hold this particular annual horse show so that they could investigate if they thought it showed possible abuse. They did say it would be investigated. The handler, trainer, and owner were all contacted by the show. From the feedback we received they denied there was any abuse. We were never informed of the findings. We just wanted to post this for other people to see and make their own judgement.
About the video clip: This was the halter class judging for colts. This colt was not being judged at the time this occurred. A chestnut colt was being judged who was the focus of the video. I did not even notice what was going on with this grey colt until I began reviewing my video clips once I had uploaded them to my computer. After that I isolated this part to try to see what was going on. The video plays at normal speed and then it is slowed down and played a couple more times. Notice in the beginning after the 'incident' how the colt seems very fearful of the handler.
We are not going to say what Arabian horse show this is, only to say it is a major annual show. This video is the property of our YouTube page MuttleeCrew and our Facebook page Heber Wild Horses.
